Sun Shine's Low

from Lyrics by Thursday's Child

lyrics

Sun Shine's Low (93)
Ken Punshon & Chris Pyam (2012)

The sun shines low, the birds fly high
The gleaming orb of Venus, shows that dusk is nigh
Magenta tinged with cyan, the irridescent haze
Shimmers down to purple with expiring rays

Creeping frosty tendrils, snake 'cross thread-bare trees
Hard hearted hexagons adorn the (shivering) plants with ease
Twisted shards of ice, lace the laggard stream
Glittering crystals silence the autumn's dying scream

Dust and dark combining; night now stalks the land
Snow-shrouded forest, by the wind is fanned
Laying covering fondant beneath the icy squall
My perspective shimmers as I shelter neath the wall

My perspective shimmers as I shelter neath the wall

about

Thursday's Child UK

Thursday's Child was born on a Monday (August Bank Holiday 2009)!

Chris Pyam and Ken Punshon got together to try out a couple of ideas for songs. That afternoon they created about eight songs; since then over 100 more have emerged, with a few more 'bubbling away'.

Heather Dunn joined us in Nov 13 to contribute additional harmonies during the creation of our third album (Carry My Thoughts).
