Whispers

from Lyrics by Thursday's Child

lyrics

Whispers (111)
Ken Punshon, Chris Pyam, Heather Dunn (2014)

[Come whisper in my ear, and breath those soft delights
There's nothing here to fear; within this peaceful night
I ask you now draw near and help me reach the heights
Then you can shed a tear and fly into the light]

This fragile world we know, tis but a thin veneer
But it was always so; into the mists we peer
Which way should we go, show a course to steer
Help my spirit grow, help to make things clear.

[]

When in bed reclined on nights you lay awake
If you feel inclined mediocrity forsake
Energise your mind and let your spirit wake
With concepts intertwined with references opaque

[]

What boundaries may we break when our fears we stow
And for heaven's sake caution to winds we throw
The things we can create results that we can show
The whole world it will shake though progress may be slow

about

Thursday's Child UK

Thursday's Child was born on a Monday (August Bank Holiday 2009)!

Chris Pyam and Ken Punshon got together to try out a couple of ideas for songs. That afternoon they created about eight songs; since then over 100 more have emerged, with a few more 'bubbling away'.

Heather Dunn joined us in Nov 13 to contribute additional harmonies during the creation of our third album (Carry My Thoughts).
