Observations of a beach in Western India

lyrics

Waves
Ken Punshon & Chris Pyam (2013)

[Waves crashing in from the sea.
Flecks of white in the breeze
They wipe from the sand
The footsteps of man
Waves crashing in from the sea]

Kiddies (are) rolling in the surf
Abundance of joy and of mirth
Crabs scuttle round
Don't want to be found
(By the) Kiddies rolling in the surf
[]

Umbrellas flutter in the wind
Sun beats down on burning skin
Beach sellers abound
With goods they come around
Umbrellas flutter in the wind
[]

Lifeguard reclining in the sun
Waiting for his work to be done
If trapped by the tide
He'll be by your side
Lifeguard reclining in the sun
[]

Sitting in the shade in the shack
Watching the tide coming back
The bottles of beer
Giving good cheer
Sitting in the shade in the shack

Waves crashing in from the sea
Flecks of white in the breeze
They wipe from the sand
The footsteps of man
Waves crashing in from the sea
Waves crashing in from the sea
Waves crashing in from the sea

about

Thursday's Child UK

Thursday's Child was born on a Monday (August Bank Holiday 2009)!

Chris Pyam and Ken Punshon got together to try out a couple of ideas for songs. That afternoon they created about eight songs; since then over 100 more have emerged, with a few more 'bubbling away'.

Heather Dunn joined us in Nov 13 to contribute additional harmonies during the creation of our third album (Carry My Thoughts).
